ProMarker Storage made by Daddy

Sorry I have been MIA for a few days, but just been under the weather. I have a quick post for you today because I just have to share this talented creation from my Dad. I have been gathering my ProMarkers slowly for some time now and I love working with them. I'm a fairly organised person and it has frustrated me slightly not being able to see all of my colours at the same time. Sooooo I asked my ever so creative Dad to come up with some invention!!!
Eh voila the Pink Wedding Stand for all your ProMarkers!! It spins and everything...I'm sooo chuffed to bits. I can't wait to get it home to play. I'd love to know your comments on this creation. Thanks Dad you one in a million. Toodles Nettie.xx

Purple Pillow Box

I'm back for the Passion for ProMarkers Challenge again. This week it's any colours and a recipe. The recipe to follow - 3 different shapes (not including your card base), 2 papers and 1 ribbon
Instead of a card, I have made a Pillow Box. I have used an old template I had but I'm sure that you can find alternative templates on the Internet somewhere. I have used purple colours and managed to just about cover the recipe...........
I have the three shapes, a rectangle behind, a circle behind Tilda and a heart to the right. The two papers are the one at the back and then patterned paper used to make the flowers. Then my ribbon is attached to my tag.............phew made it.
As you can see I have tried to take as many pictures as possible to try and get a good picture of all angles!! I have used my ProMarkers to colour my Tilda and then used Glaze accents to highlight her key.
I may have gone a bit OTT with the flowers but I wanted to include as many different flowers as I could and you have probably guest by now that I like making quilled flowers.
Recipe:
Papers - Papermania
Purple Embellishments - The Range
Image - Magnolia Tilda with Key
Flowers - Stamps from my Stash
Letters - Anitas Sparkly Letters
Quilled Flowers - Handmade
We have had a fairly relaxing day today and now Hubby has gone off to work again so I thought I would quickly pop my make on here. Hello to my new followers also, thanks for following along!! Until next time ............Toodles Nettie.xx

Chill Out

I'm back for Round 2 at Lily-Boo Too Challenge. This month the team have asked us to follow the sketch, using a Lily-Boo Boutique image. Don't worry though if you haven't purchased any images yet, as Sam has provided us with a freebie (which is a cutie).
I have quite a few Lily-Boo images, but for this one I have chosen.................. the Little Mice collection. I love the strawberries in this images and it gave me a chance to use those Christmasy colours again, although this one is not a Christmas card..............sorry are you getting sick of them yet????
Here's a dimensional shot for you, although not too much dimension to this one except for the quilled flowers!! I thought that the caption fitted, although micey here looks a little too chilled out(snoring, would have fitted better).
Recipe:
Papers - DCWV Christmas Stack & Digital Stash
Card - Papermania
Image - Little Mice Lily-Boo's
Sentiment - Royal Brush Rub-Ons
Flowers - Handmade Quilled Flowers
Brackets - Stampendous Peel Offs
Well that's it from me again, have a good evening. Toodles Nettie.xx

Christmas Carols DU2DS

Hellooo, yes I'm back with this brightly coloured card to kick start my festive makes. I made this card for the Dare U 2 Digi Stamp challenge, which I have never taken part in before. The challenge this week is to include 'punched' or 'die-cut' items on your make, along with a digital image. I have used punched and die-cut snowflakes on my card. I have used the beautiful 'Milly' from Digistamp Boutique, if you haven't had a look over there lately then pop over because Sally-Ann has some fabby Christmas characters. I coloured in Milly using my lovely ProMarkers.
Here is an inside view for you. Talking of ProMarkers, I have asked my dad to come up with something inventive to store mine in. As soon as I have it in my hands I will post it for you, for your comments.

Recipe:
Papers - DCWV Christmas Scrapbooking Stack
Card - Papermania
Ribbon - From my Stash
Snowflakes - XCut Punch, Sizzix Die-Cut
Swirls - Stamp from collection (not sure where?)
Image - Digistamp Boutique
Sentiments - Rub-ons, Anitas Stamp, Penny Black Stamp
Gems - Picked up from Poundland!!

Thanks for popping by and hopefully I will be back shortly with another make for you. Toodles Nettie.xxx

Pollycraft Monday Challenge 5 S Words

I have never entered the Pollycraft Monday Challenge before, but have always followed. Probably because I don't get my butt into gear and produced the card...............but here's a first. The challenge was to create a card trying to use 2 of the following 'S' words:
SNOWFLAKES
SPARKLE
SPOTS
STRIPES
SWIRLS
They have said that if you manage to get all five 'S' then you will be eligible for a free image, so I have tried my best at this. Snowflakes (check), Sparkle (check), Spots, Stripes and Swirls I have managed to get in on the paper (check).
Sorry for the poor photo's but I was hurrying and the battery on my camera died. I have used the beautiful Ginger for this image, I'm loving the leg warmers.

Recipe:
Paper - DCWV Christmas Stack
Image - Pollycraft Ginger
Lettering - Sizzix Easy Peasy
Snowflakes - Xcut Punch

I will catch up with you all later, when I have some more makes. Take care Nettie.xx

Pinata

Well, a little delayed but here is the Pinata I promised. We had a slight mis-hap with the tissue paper so we resorted to spray paint..................Never the less I still managed to fill his belly with lots of goodies.
Now Sydney asked for a Dog Pinata...................and I thought I had done my best to achieve that, but when we arrived to the party he said quote 'oh, wow that's a great cat'. So I felt I couldn't correct him.

Now everybody took part in the beating of the 'cat', including my dad!! He said that the blindfold was a little see-through, so we adapted the blindfold..............................................

And here is birthday boy himself, trying reach the Pinata let alone beat it!! I think he had a good day.............................I will leave it there, so that you can have a good chuckle. Toodles Nettie.xx
