My eldest nephew Freddie is 6 tomorrow and he absolutely loves to skate. I have used this cute Josh image from Digistamp Boutique for this one. I have used the Happy Birthday embossed folder from my Cuttlebug collection and the letters and stars are from the Sizzix dies. I tried to create a ramp on the front of the card but I'm not sure if it's worked.
I did realise that by accident made the card back to front. I now have to try and explain to Freddie that this is the new style for cards!!
Here are the challenges I am entering this card for:
Digistamp Boutique - Any card using a Digistamp image
Cute Card Thursday Challenge - Boyz to Men
DU2DS - Anything goes
Stampin for the Weekend - A male card
Pregnancy update - I will be 28 weeks tomorrow. I have my scan tomorrow, so I will try and share pictures with you all when I have scanned them.
Take care Nettie.xx
This is so cute Nettie :) He will love it and not care about the tiny mistake! The layout on this is great. So happy things are progressing well. It was Mother's Day here in the U.S. yesterday, so Happy Mother's Day to you!
ReplyDeleteReally fabulous card Nettie and I'm sure Freddie will love it.
ReplyDeleteJust had a thought too about your mistake which I've too done before lol. If you chop the card down the fold, you could then cut a strip about 2 inches by the card length, score it in half length ways and then stick the card front and back to it to form the new fold on the right side.
Hope this makes sense.
Fliss xx
This is a fab card! He will surely love it!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant card Nettie - I know my boys would love it! Cheers Claire x

I asked mim to help me cause i not big enough to do it on my own xxxxxxxxx
Hi Nettie, what a cute card. Great choice of image and your colouring is fab. The colour scheme and layout is perfect. Thanks for joining in our monthly competition over at DSB. Hugs, Denise x
ReplyDeleteAnother alternative if you make a mistake again is cut off the front of your card and make an easel card :)
