Something for Mum

Hello everyone, it's Friday again yippee I hear you cry. I hope you have been enjoying some of this hot weather. Taking the lead this week over at Polkadoodles is Fliss. In honour of Fliss' mum she has asked us to make a project with Mum in mind and using the colours Peach/Orange and Blue.
Now my Mum loves to read, she is an out and out Book Worm. So I thought I would make her a pretty Book Mark to find her spot. I have used the gorgeous Maggie from the Fairy Flutterfly collection, which can be found over at the Polkadoodles shop.
The papers are from the new CD All Around & Everywhere and I have used my Martha Stewart punch for a little bit of detail at the bottom of the Book Mark.
Let's see what you can make with your mum in mind. Take care Nettie.x

  1. Nettie this is just adorable! I love how you used Maggie without the wings - she looks so studious sitting there. Love the bookmark idea. Hugs...Kris

  2. After cards, bookmarks are one of my favorite things to make! I think they are great when you personalize them for someone or make them to match a card...This one is so cute, and I love the punch at the bottom and the bookworm sentiment!

  3. Lovely bookmard fab colour and love all the wee finnishing touches - I love Maggie! Cheers Claire x

  4. Thank you darling for my lovely present which I will use a great deal as long as someone does not move the bookmark when I'm not around ( CHRISTOPHER)
    What a lovely thought.
Can't wait for you to be a mum& what a lovely one you will make.
    Jenny sends her love xx
