Polkadoodle Male/Father's Day Card

It's the ever so creative Dee taking front stage this week over at Polkadoodle's. Dee has set us the challenge to make a Father's Day or Male themed card. My Dad's birthday and Father's Day are very close together, so it was a toss up as to which way I went.
I have used the cool birdie from the Not for Girls CD and the star's papers from the same CD. The black border at the bottom of the front has been made using my trusty Martha Stewart punch. As you can hopefully see this is an easel card.
I'm still playing with my new camera and I still think I need a full blown training course, because I couldn't take a fab picture!! I hope to see you all taking part in our challenge this week, as Father's Day is coming up thick and fast. Take care Nettie.xx

  1. Great colors on this card and the bird is just too cool in his little shades!

  2. Really lovely card Nettie. I just love those cool dudes and did a similar card for my brother in law's birthday.
I think your photography is fine too as easel cards aren't the easiest thing to take a photo of.
    Have a lovely weekend.

  3. love the card especially as it looks like your DAd. He still thinks he's a cool dude.
    He will love it. xx

  4. Hi Nettie, we chose the same cute birdie!! I love your easel card! I've never tried one of those before but they look so cool! I love all of the stars on your card too!

  5. A fab, cool creation, with a great design.
    Happy crafting
