Hello everyone, sorry I have been lacking in the blogging department but I have a bit slow lately. I'm now 38 weeks pregnant, so literally counting down the days till little one is here. Plus the heat is a little hard to take at the moment.
I was asked by my gorgeous cousin to make a card for his dad, who is a big cricket fanatic. I have used George, who is part of a sports pack over at
Charmed Cards & Crafts. I have coloured in George using my Promarkers. I wouldn't normally make a gate-fold card, but that's the way I went with this card.
I have kept the card fairly simple, as we all know that men don't like fussy cards. I generated the sentiment on my computer and crumpled it up and then put it in place with a couple of brads. Here is a quick view of the inside, I used my Martha Stewart punch for the fence inside.
Over at
Dottie's World the challenge is to make a Summer card and you need to use a Charmed download. Being that cricket is a summer sport I hope this card fits in well with their challenge.
I have been busy making baby announcement cards too, so I will take a picture of them soon and share them with you all. Also this Friday don't forget to check out the
